In a thrill-grabbing news conference, NASA announced on February 22, 2017 that scientists had identified not one, but 7 earth-like objects, not too far from our backyard that might hold tantalizing prospect of harboring life. They are revolving around a dwarf star, named Trappist-1, about 40 light years, or 235 trillion miles, from earth.
